All Are Welcome

Every time we gather around God’s Altar at Church of the Epiphany
we invite one another to the Table with the words “All are Welcome.”
We believe that God’s invitation extends to all and knows no boundaries of age, race, ethnicity, culture, gender, sexual orientation, economic condition, physical or mental ability.  We seek therefore to mirror that wideness of welcome in our Church community.
“O God, who created all peoples in your image, we thank you for the wonderful diversity of races and cultures and peoples in this world.  Enrich our lives by ever-widening circles of fellowship, and show us your presence in those who differ most from us, until our knowledge of your love is made perfect in our love for all your children;
 through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.”

Our Choir

During last year's Lenten season, under the direction of our Minister of Music, Dr. Jeffery Benson, our choir performed the Faure Requiem.  You can view the video here.

Lex orandi, lex credendi — roughly translated from Latin means "as we pray, so we believe."

Gathering together in worship is perhaps the most fundamental part of our formation as Christians. By regularly joining to pray and praise together, we acknowledge that we are not God, that we fall down and need to get up (and need God and one another to do so), and are reminded again and again of God's unbounded goodness and our call to always make the "sacrifice of thanksgiving" for the gift of life which we do not earn, and of grace, which is greater than we can repay.
